Privacy & measurement

Updated October 21, 2026.

Directory activity

We count directory visits, product views, comparisons and manufacturer-link clicks, grouped by UTC date and product. We do not attach these counts to a browser identifier, account, IP address or submitted requirement. These are request counts, not unique visitors or verified buyers; bots and repeated clicks can affect them. Aggregate activity is retained for 90 days.

We respect browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. You can also turn measurement off on this browser. That preference is stored locally and is not a tracking identifier.

Requirements you share

The optional form stores your task, location, budget, optional email, submission time and reference. AptRobo uses these to research directory demand and may follow up about your requirement if you supply an email. We do not send these details to manufacturers or add you to a marketing list. Do not include confidential information. Records are removed after 90 days by a daily cleanup task.

Hosting

Hostinger hosts the application and Cloudflare delivers and protects it. Their infrastructure and standard web-server logs may process connection information such as IP addresses for delivery and security. That information is separate from our aggregate activity counts. Google Fonts supplies website fonts and may receive connection information when loaded.
